About time

A nice steel watch, Seiko Kinetic in label, expensive as well. In every respect a nice piece of machinery for measuring...yes, what?

I watched a minute go by. One hand traveling around the clock table second by second. Before I knew it, a minute had passed serenly.

What had actually happened? Nothing? Something?

Time in it self is a concept to which I have no expertise to comment on, neither to it's philosophical nor physical nature. Still time determines everything in our lives.

A question asked by many is what time is. All I can say, it's something that controls, well, everything.

Someone might say that nothing actually happened within that minute I just sat on my sofa and watched the second hand turning. But indeed something happened. Weirdly enough we can never stop our brain from collecting and analyzing information. The brain goes on, even though we stop our physical activity.

What I know is that the minute is gone but it isn't. Though I thought I had done nothing with it, with the time I spent sitting, I actually did, or my brain did. So I conclude that even thought we might think we're not using our time properly or efficiently enough, we can't waste it. Something always comes out of passing time.

Or I'm just wasting my time writing this :)
