Näin myöskään lääkärit eivät saa määräämistään lääkkeistä kokonaiskuvaa mitä niiden todelliseen tehoon tulee. In case you're interested in the efficiency of medical drugs, check out the site www.alltrials.net (in English + some other languages). The purpose of this project is to make drug companies to publish the results of all their drug studies; at the moment the companies that own the drug patents tested own the results to those studies and have the right to withhold the studies from publishers in case they don't paint their drugs in a positive light. The consequence is that even doctor who prescribe these drugs don't really know just how effective the drugs really are. More information can be found from all over, but one good book is Ben Goldacre's (M.D.) lates, 'Bad Pharma'.
