About time. And now I can do the usual autumn routines again: fooling myself into believing it'll be different this time, better, everything. That now I have motivation to do things, to start a new hobby I've thought for years, or gain my ideal weight goal, become Xena. I think my success rate will be the same as every year but it's still a nice feeling and I want to cling to it, even if it is self-deceit.
At least I'm not forcing anyone else to believe me.

I know... but just.. a little like her... pretty please? I might need some speech coaching to be able to speak both so low and so high. And lots of training to get those biceps... But I'm only 3 cms shorter that Lucy Lawless... Okay, can't think of any more feeble justifications, but I still refuse to be put down by the fact. There are billions and billions of people who manage to delude themselves into believing in some invisible friend up in the sky, I can delude myself -and motivate myself- to believing this is to some extent possible, self-deceit is hardwired into our brain.
(I was so shocked when I discovered she's really blonde...)
