Helsingin Sanomat (http://www.hs.fi/aanestys/1135249645879) has listed thirty likely winners of this year's Nobel Prize for literature. Here's my Top 3, not so much based on the likelihood of them winning but based on how much I think they deserve to win and be officially acknowledged for their work.
1. Margaret Atwood (Canada)
2. Salman Rushdie (Britain/India)
3. Alice Munro (Canada)
Others worthy of noting are Joyce Carol Oates (USA), Milan Kundera (France/Czeckoslovakia) and Patricia Grace (New Zealand).

I see Margaret Atwood usein, like in a streetcar, she leaves nearby. Such a tiny lady.

Tiny lady, big thoughts. And since Morrison already got the Nobel, she's the next best thing.
