Seuraava Dyke Hard järjestetään lauantaina 26.9.2015 klo: 21-04, paikkana Remix Nightclub. Sisäänpääsy 10 € (sisältää narikan 3 €).
Dyke Hard on vuoden 2014 alussa perustettu underground lesbo- ja queerklubi.
Klubi on kahden DJ:n yhteinen taideprojekti jossa haetaan "hämyisen Berliinin underground lesboklubin" tunnelmaa musiikillisessa muodossa.
Emme pelkää soittaa rankempaakin musiikkia. Elektro, rock, rap, dubstep, tekno, queercore, riot grrrl, punk ja industrial soivat koko illan aamuvalkeaan saakka. Ei armoa, vaan hikeä, tanssimista ja kovaa rakkautta!
Musiikista vastaavat DJ Selina Kyle ja DJ Sanctuares.
DJ Selina Kyle on tuttu näky Helsingin queerklubien ja roller derby matsien DJ:nä. Kyle soittaa klubimusiikkia queer-elementillä, mutta luomassaan Dyke Hard-konseptissa pääsee revittelemään rankemman elektronisen musiikin parissa mitä ei kehtaisi muualla soittaa.
Vivahteikkuutta, tummia sävyjä, raskautta, kontrastia. DJ Sanctuaresin settejä inspiroivat niin taide kuin unet ja alitajuntakin intensiivistä tanssimusiikkiakaan unohtamatta.
Alkuillassa klo: 21-23 vierailee DJ Paksuaki - punkrocktweepopriotgrrrldisco!
Paksuaki on soitellut punk, indie-rock ja riot grrrl levyjä viimeiset kaksi vuosikymmentä ympäri kaupunkia. Tästä ajasta suurimman osan hän on toiminut Bang Shang A-Lang-nimisen DJ-duon toisena osapuolena mm. Bassoradiolla saman nimisessä radio-ohjelmassa.
Illan esiintyjänä nähdään rap-artisti Koo Trip.
Musiikki on Koolle purkautumiskeino, jonka kautta taiteilija avaa sisäisen maailmansa. Koon rehelliset lyriikat ammentavat artistin henkilökohtaisista kokemuksista. Avoimesti homoseksuaalin rap-artistin musiikki puhuttelee jokaista joka kokee ristiriitoja ja etäisyyttä omaan tunne-elämäänsä. Ja erityisesti sitä joka tuntee olevansa yksin ihmisten ympäröimänä. Koo Trip esiintyy klo: 00.00-00.45.
Lesbo ja queer aatteet näkyvät klubin asenteessa ja musiikkilinjauksessa, mutta tästä huolimatta klubi on avoin kaikille identiteettiin ja sukupuoleen katsomatta. Tule siis jos tykkäät meiningistä - kunhan vain annat daikkiuden kukkia!

The next Dyke Hard will be held on Saturday September 26th in Remix Nightclub from 9 PM to 4 AM. Entrance fee 10 € (includes cloakroom fee 3 €).
Dyke Hard is an underground lesbian and queer club that started on January 2014.
The club is an art project of two DJs where we're looking for an atmosphere of "shady underground lesbian club in Berlin" in musical form.
We're not afraid of playing rougher music. Electro, rock, rap, dubstep, techno, queercore, riot grrrl, punk and industrial play all night until the break of dawn. No mercy, just sweat, dancing and hard love!
DJ Selina Kyle and DJ Sanctuares are in charge of the music.
DJ Selina Kyle is a familiar sight on Helsinki's queer clubs and roller derby matches' where she plays as a DJ. Kyle plays club music with a queer twist. But in Dyke Hard concept she's created, she gets to experiment with rougher electronic music that you wouldn't dare to play anywhere else.
Dark tones, heaviness, contrast. DJ Sanctuares' sets are inspired by art as well as dreams and unconsciousness, and not to forget, intensive dance music.
In the beginning of the evening from 9 PM to 11 PM visiting DJ Paksuaki plays punkrocktweepopriotgrrrldisco!
Paksuaki has played punk, indie-rock and riot grrrl records for the last two decades all around Helsinki. Most of this time he has been part of DJ duo Bang Shang A-Lang, who also have had a radio show of the same name in Bassoradio.
The performer of the evening is rap artist Koo Trip.
Music is a venting channel for Koo, which open's up a view into the artists inner world. Honest lyrics are based on personal experiences. Openly homosexual rap artists music touches anyone who experiences contradictions and distance to one's own emotional life. And especially anyone who feels alone around other people. Koo Trip performs between 12 PM and 12.45 PM.
Lesbian and queer ideologies are visible in the club's attitude and music choices, but the club is open to everyone regardless of identity or gender. So come if you like the club - as long as everyone can be a dyke here freely!
